Heard about an upcoming Fox show called Someone’s Gotta Go ? It is in the producer's words “a reality series in which real companies that are struggling to stay afloat in this lousy economy agree to let their staffs decide who among them will get pink-slipped to cut costs ”.
I just cannot believe that layoffs can become such trivial and disgusting shows. I just hope that the show dies a quick death as it would be a shame if it becomes a hit, or worse, develops a loyal enough following to prompt others to consider even more degrading forms of entertainment.
